Faith and Politics

And the winner of the forum is, no one! That’s right, in this type of forum you can’t have just one winner, because this forum was built for us to get to know each of the candidates faith. But there was a goal for both candidates which was clearly identified and only one of them could accomplished what they hoped to. Obama hoped to earn votes from evangelical voters which tend to go to republicans, and as for McCain he wanted to establish himself as a leader among evangelicals like George Bush did before him. And the winner of that was clearly McCain and I will tell you why. McCain was capable to answers the questions with speed, and honestly. His answers we not just what we wanted to hear but what we need to hear. He tied in his experience with life and his own marriage to our daily lives. McCain also made references that Obama failed to do, for example McCain used current events and his experience to answer the questions. Obama couldn’t do this because he doesn’t have that much experience to offer us, or rather apply any of his experience to our problems. If you tuned in on either fox or cnn you saw McCain winning the during the forum and many evangelicals are now going to vote for McCain. So missions accomplished by McCain, and if anyone missed it you didn’t miss much, but you did see a little preview of what is to come in the debates in the months to come.
