Just a few days ago Senator McCain took center stage at his Republican Convention. With more viewers watching then Senator
Obama, McCain had to deliver what was called the most important speech in his life. In recent polls and from the people I talk to you McCain seemed to just about accomplish it. Some believe that there was not much energy and it lacked emotion, that he
didn’t seem comfortable. Others felt that his speech was the start of a whole new campaign and motivated the donor base to contribute two hundred million dollars. If you don’t know me by now, I support my decisions and thoughts with proof. It today’s Gallup Poll McCain has a 3% lead over
Obama, even
Obama’s network CNN reports McCain has taken the lead in this presidential election. With more polls pouring in around the nation it seems that McCain has done the job and done it correctly. In fact this new message or campaign theme is to do or join a cause greater then our own self interest. This theme seems to be growing in our country and many are joining team of McCain. I had a discussion with a friend the other night that I am not sure where he got his information, but stated that
Obama was leading in New Orleans. A poll today, today I mind, stated that McCain is leading in that area about 78%. So I don’t know where he got his information, probably CNN or someone he overheard but none the less WRONG. My friends and I discussed McCain and his speech, and surprisingly enough majority are probably not voting for McCain or
Obama, but rather not voting at all. When talking to a friend from college he was surprised those friends of mine have not care or knowledge in what’s going on or if they do remain silent. But we are a group that a just roll with it and that seems to be successful for us so far but we shall see how far for me. I was just reading a blog how someone actually
stoped being friends with his classmates because lack of emotion in this election, I will not go that far but I am also not that far behind. Back to McCain well simply enough proved to energize his base and campaign. Look at the polls and that will tell you what you need to see. McCain
doesn’t speak well with a prepared statement, but speaks better when he is walking around talking to us. So I will not hold that against him but rather applaud it. October 26
th is going to be the first Presidential Debate and I am looking forward to it.
