Anchors away on MSNBC

Probably the worst team in political history to ever call or talk about politics were recently broken up on the not so popular MSNBC network. Of course I am talking about Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann that were finally moved from their anchor positions and put on the back burner of the network. Both men have be criticized as being bias, and unfair while treating certain candidates, especially dealing with degrading remarks towards women and republicans. I have to say after reading, “Life as a campaign” by Matthews I have been surprised with the way that Matthews has gone after Governor Palin and cried during an Obama speech earlier in the 08 season. Many liberal bloggers have already attacked MSNBC for removing such talent, that I believe can be replaced by children, and have started a petition to get them to return these men back on to the air. I applaud MSNBC for their efforts for trying to equalize or report fair news, I won’t be watching anytime soon but still applaud their efforts. I feel that this should have been done earlier and felt that the network was trying to avoid this move but it was definitely unavoidable. In a recent poll Americans find Fox News to be the fairest network available and CNN close behind. MSNBC is far behind the fair line but has made some moves that may get them into some fair territory. As for Matthews and Olbermann I hope to never see you on the air again, and do enjoy your early retirement, hope to never run into you.
