Well now since everything has been said and done all that is left to do is to thank John McCain. Since the age of 17 McCain has served this country. He never gave up on the American Dream, and always put his country first. How many of us would survive being a POW for five years, or even a minute, not many of us. McCain has always served us, and because of him we were able to cast our votes either for or against him. It is funny that because of his service and the service of our men and women that we had the ability to vote and majority against McCain. Only in this country can we take an American Hero, a Patriot, and a public servant and make them into a nothing. John McCain was not just candidate for President for me, but rather a symbol of doing things for others rather then ourselves. A lot of my friends are becoming spoiled, and are rubbing it in people’s faces. They are acting as if the problems we face are bellow them. All of which I mind you probably voted for Obama. Thank you Senator McCain for everything, you taught us what its like to be humble and honest. The lessons that McCain has taught us will always out live the speeches in which Obama gives. Again I am happy that our country voted in such a united voice, but surprised how quickly they are now thanking McCain. I will never forget the man that stood against his party, made decisions in which were rite rather then political, and who served us since he was young and will continue as he “draws breath so help me God.” Thank You Senator McCain I am here because of you.
