With the GOP looking forward its now looks like there could be a big fight for Republican National Chairman spot. The candidates thus far are former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Maryland Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele, Michigan Republican Chair Saul Anuzis, Chip Saltsman former campaign manager for Governor Mike Huckabee. Each candidate offers a lot to the party and should be considered for some post.
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich:

I am happy to cast my vote to the Republican Committee and my support for Michael Steele for the position of Republican National Chairman. Looking forward I believe we need solid leadership and a committed individual that is capable of bring back the fundamentals to the party. That man is Michael Steele and I hope that all party members support and follow this excellent leadership.
