Michael Steele for RNC Chair

"Let’s build a movement together…

Our party needs new leadership, not just new management. We can’t be satisfied with marginal improvements. We must become a movement that seeks nothing less than transformation. It will take new ideas, a commitment to reenergize our communications and a new structure that involves members and grassroots in a meaningful way. And it will take a fresh message.

But to those who suggest that means a shift away from the timeless truths upon which our party stands, I say nonsense.
We need to earn back the trust of the American people. We need to reclaim the future by adhering to our timeless principles. We need to pick ourselves up and once again become champions of optimism, innovation and empowerment.

As a former state chairman, county chairman and statewide elected official, it’s been my privilege to serve our Republican Party for nearly 30 years. Now, I want to help lead our Party as Chairman of the Republican National Committee." Michael Steele for RNC Chair Website

RNC Chairman?

With the GOP looking forward its now looks like there could be a big fight for Republican National Chairman spot. The candidates thus far are former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, former Maryland Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele, Michigan Republican Chair Saul Anuzis, Chip Saltsman former campaign manager for Governor Mike Huckabee. Each candidate offers a lot to the party and should be considered for some post.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich:

"In his post-Speaker role, Newt has become one of the most highly sought-after public speakers, accepting invitations to speak before some of the most prestigious organizations in the world. Because of his own unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Newt is able to share unique and unparalleled insights on a wide range of topics. His audiences find him to be not only an educational but also an inspirational speaker." Gingrich Website

Former Maryland Lieutenant Governor Michael Steele:

“Rebuilding the party after its most recent national defeat will not be easy. It requires commitment, dedication, tactical and strategic vision, the ability to craft and deliver winning messages and a sense of what the America voter wants from its government. Michael Steele has all these qualities, and in great supply.” Michael Steele Website

Chairman Saul Anuzis:

“Saul is a believer in the core principles of Republicanism. They are the reason he became a Republican. He certainly wasn't born into it. Saul grew up in a working class neighborhood in Detroit. He played in the streets with the kids of other autoworkers. He saw Ronald Reagan speak to those workers with a message that spoke to him as well. And he knows that, until we reach those voters again, Republicans will not win.” Saul Anuizs Website

“With Chip Saltsman, a man who truly believes in conservative principles, as our party's chairman, conservatives will have a renewed voice in our party and the establishment that's put us in this mess will finally be held accountable.” Chip Saltsman Website

I am happy to cast my vote to the Republican Committee and my support for Michael Steele for the position of Republican National Chairman. Looking forward I believe we need solid leadership and a committed individual that is capable of bring back the fundamentals to the party. That man is Michael Steele and I hope that all party members support and follow this excellent leadership.

Freedom of Choice

In recent news we are hearing that the Democrat Party will be having a full caucus vote on weather or not Senator Lieberman should keep his chairmanship over Homeland Security committee. The motionless Harry Ried and the evil witch doctor Speaker Pelosi are trying to humiliate and eliminate this man for his support for John McCain. Lieberman never attacked Obama and personally offered his congrats on him being elected. But like the LIBERAL wing of the Democrat Party they feel that they need to put Lieberman in his place and throw him off of this committee. By the way the Homeland Security position and bill was all put into play by Senator Joseph Lieberman. I am appalled that this is a desperate act to control the freedom of choice; I can’t even imagine what Adolf Reid and Hollywood Pelosi would do to you if you disagree with them.
Also to the people of Connecticut who already are gearing up to throw Senator Lieberman out, Ned Lamont is not better, besides look at his child molestation charges in which he freed over 216 offenders who 98% became repeat offenders. “I hate Ned Lamont because he's a beady-eyed, trust-fund-baby, Joe-smearing, Senate seat-buying, know-nothing selectman.” Unanimous Blogger It is sad that the democrat party has to result to these methods and the reason is because Obama will most likely govern from the middle and not the left. That my friend drives the pink o comie liberal nuts.

Thank You John McCain

Well now since everything has been said and done all that is left to do is to thank John McCain. Since the age of 17 McCain has served this country. He never gave up on the American Dream, and always put his country first. How many of us would survive being a POW for five years, or even a minute, not many of us. McCain has always served us, and because of him we were able to cast our votes either for or against him. It is funny that because of his service and the service of our men and women that we had the ability to vote and majority against McCain. Only in this country can we take an American Hero, a Patriot, and a public servant and make them into a nothing. John McCain was not just candidate for President for me, but rather a symbol of doing things for others rather then ourselves. A lot of my friends are becoming spoiled, and are rubbing it in people’s faces. They are acting as if the problems we face are bellow them. All of which I mind you probably voted for Obama. Thank you Senator McCain for everything, you taught us what its like to be humble and honest. The lessons that McCain has taught us will always out live the speeches in which Obama gives. Again I am happy that our country voted in such a united voice, but surprised how quickly they are now thanking McCain. I will never forget the man that stood against his party, made decisions in which were rite rather then political, and who served us since he was young and will continue as he “draws breath so help me God.” Thank You Senator McCain I am here because of you.

President Obama & Vice President Biden

Well the election is over, and the American People with one voice declared who they wanted for President. As I predicted before that Obama would be President, and McCain would not be, after a long election year my prediction was correct. Looking back at this process, which was long and expressive, a lot of memories along with experience that I am grateful for. The Republican Party may be down now, and it seems to be a big up hill battle there is a few scenarios that I believe could occur.

First Scenario: If Obama does not restore faith in government which has been lost since Nixon, then Obama will have a tough reelection. Since the start of YouTube, internet, and so many blogs it is hard to pull a quick one over the people. This is a problem for incumbents and a problem for any party and politician. Incumbents have to do something, and can not just fall back on promises without us the people knowing about it.

Second Scenario: The economy will be teetering for the remainder of this year, and seems to be a little scary down the road. Obama has promised a lot, and if he doesn’t not execute then I guarantee there will be members of my party that will gear up to beat him. I personally pray that this does not happen and that Obama is successful because I don’t believe our country can survive corruption and ongoing problems.

Both scenarios are a problem for Obama and what many republicans are looking for as Obama heads into the White House. But like I said before this is something that I don’t want to see. Looking towards 2012 seems to be to far away for me to even think about it. I offer my congrats to Obama and Biden and wish them success.

Two Roads

With election almost here and both camps remaining optimistic the American people remain undecided. New polls are saying the exact opposite of what they are feeling, and the question now being asked are the polls right? In 2004 John Kerry had a 5% lead over President Bush, but on Election Day the President defeated the Senator and retained the White House. The majority of the polls you see now have the race within 5%; my own tracking poll has it down to a 3% race which is big for John McCain. Also early voting is now not helping Obama but rather a problem for him. Early voting in Ohio and Florida has been very large for McCain. Now you may think well then on Election Day Obama will have his part turn out. NO! In those two states Democrats made up 59% of the early voters, Republicans 9%, and independents 32%. Even with a higher turnout of Democrats Obama seems not to be clicking to well. Two days from now we will know who had the better of the strategies and who will be the one raising their hand and taking an oath. I personally feel that this race is close, with a slight edge toward Obama. High turnout could put PA in the column of John McCain which would be a big victory for me. Don’t forget to Vote.
